Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and China Oceanic Development Foundation, the first series of lectures on the Diplomacy Knowledge Related with Peripheral Sea in Colleges and Universities is in full swing in Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Sichuan University and South China Normal University. Six experts such as Yang Renhuo, representative of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gao Zhiguo, former judge of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, Wu Shicun, President of the National Institute for South China Sea Studies, Yang Li, Assistant President of the National Institute for South China Sea Studies and Director of Research Center for Maritime Economy, Hu Bo, Director of the Peking University Center for Maritime Strategy Studies, and Zhuang Guotu, Distinguished Professor of Xiamen University gave lively and fascinating lectures; Students are absorbed and attentive. Many questions were discussed in the interactive part with a fantastic atmosphere. The event was such a success that the whole lecture hall was packed.
