Vice Chairman Lv Bin pointed out in his speech that the construction of the "Marine Library" in inland areas is of great significance to improve China's current uneven development of marine consciousness and comprehensively enhance the soft power of China's marine development. The Foundation hopes that by donating the “Marine Library”, it will cooperate with the Luxian Second Middle School to comprehensively promote the education of marine basic knowledge and achieve the goal of “introducing marine knowledge into teaching materials, classrooms, and campuses”, at the same time, open a new window for Bashu children to understand the ocean. The Foundation hopes that students can extend their arms through this window, embrace the sea, actively arm themselves with marine knowledge, and strive to become builders and promoters of marine powers after they grow up. The Vice Chairman Lu Bin pointed out in his speech that the construction of the "Marine Library" in inland areas is of great significance to improve China's current uneven development of marine consciousness and comprehensively enhance the soft power of China's marine development.

Xiao Gang, the deputy secretary of the county committee and the county magistrate said that despite being inland, the children of Luxian county look up to the sky and yearn for the ocean! The ocean is the cradle of human life, but at present for most inland students the ocean is just the blue area on the map. No matter from the perspective of national strategic development, or from the perspective of future scientific and technological and cultural development, inland students urgently need to promote marine awareness and popularize marine knowledge through marine education. The China Oceanic Development Foundation donated the “Marine Library” to the Second High School of Luxian County to solve this problem. Thanks to the China Oceanic Development Foundation for its care for the education of Luxian County.
