To implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization in the new era and actively carry out the construction of marine ecological civilization, China Oceanic Development Foundation has sponsored the "National Clean Beach Public Welfare Activity" in coastal provinces and cities nationwide since 2017. Through collaborating with marine public welfare organizations and marine volunteers nationwide to carry out beach cleanup activities, the knowledge of marine resources and ecological protection will be disseminated, thus forming an improved situation for the whole society to promote the construction of marine ecological civilization together.

With the strong support of sea-lovers from all walks of life, the "National Clean Beach Public Welfare Activity" has been held for four consecutive sessions, covering more than 100 cities, with more than 50,000 people participating in the activity and clearing up the coastline for more than 20,000 kilometers.

On September 11th, the "5th National Clean Beach Public Welfare Activity" will continue to kick off in coastal provinces and cities across China.
