International Cooperation on MSP
We take part in the Silk Road construction and tell a good story of the Chinese story. We adhere to the principle of pursuing shared growth through discussion and collaboration so as to provide marine spatial planning assistance for Silk Road and Island Countries. Besides, we cooperate with relevant foreign institutions to form international maritime think tank, providing the Chinese solution for global ocean governance and and offering the Chinese wisdom and strength to the world.

Special Research on spatial Planning
We carry out researches on the theory, institution and technical system of spatial planning in order to promote the establishment of a new pattern of marine space resource development and protection. We study major issues such as coordination for land and sea, integrated coastal zone management and management and control of the use of marine space resources, and follow up on the concepts, technologies, standards and related policies to promote technological renewal and continuous improvement of marine spatial planning.

Marine Spatial Planning Academy
This academy is a technical support platform and think tank for monographic study of marine spatial planning and exchange tasks of international cooperation. The main tasks are to carry out the research on theories, methods, standards and techniques as it seeks to provide technical support for the establishment and system construction of national marine spatial planning. We implement international cooperation in marine spatial planning and strive to promote the marine spatial cooperation with Silk Road and Island Countries and undertake the task of foreign technical assistance for marine space planning.
