On the occasion of the 33rd "International Coastal Cleanup", in order to gather the communities that love the ocean and enhance people’s awareness of marine environment protection, the China Oceanic Development Foundation has held together major marine social welfare organizations in the country in major coastal cities for the 2018 National Coastal Cleanup.

Theme: Guarding beautiful beaches together

Guided by: Marine authorities in coastal provinces and cities

Operator: Over 30 social organizations including Sanya Blue Ribbon Marine Protection Association, Shenzhen Marine Environmental Protection Association, Dalian Environmental Protection Volunteers Association and Shanghai Rendu Marine Public Welfare Development Center and so on.

Activity Mechanism: This coastal cleanup is designed by setting up a main venue respectively in Sanya, Shenzhen and Dalianwhile setting up subvenues in other major coastal provinces and cities around the country. It is based on a nationwide linkage with cleaning beaches as the main line while integrating local characteristics to jointly create an atmosphere of "Guarding beautiful beaches together ".
